Biography
Parker Story is a pianist, educator, and composer residing in Rochester, NY. Parker began playing the piano at age five and has been performing professionally since the age of 13. In 2016 Parker received a full-tuition scholarship to attend Roberts Wesleyan College. He graduated in 2020 and has since joined the faculty as an Adjunct professor of Jazz Piano.
Parker has studied jazz piano with Paul Hofmann, Mike Van Allen, and Steven Feifke. Additionally, he has studied classical piano with Josh Massicot, Dr. Michael Landrum, and Joe Werner.
Parker has toured the North Eastern United States & Florida, France, and has performed in Nanjing, China as well with various groups. On a semi-regular basis Parker performs in New York City as well. In the Rochester area he is an in-demand pianist who performs with a variety of groups and ensembles. He also maintains a studio of private lesson students, teaching piano, jazz improvisation and theory.
